Very bad and rude customer service

Very bad and rude customer service. I took a ticket and then in the train, the conductor says the ticket is not valid for this train, but only for the train that was 2 minutes ago, that goes to the same location. So he says, I have to purchase another one and reimburse my old one. I do that and they told me they cannot reimburse me after. No explanation whatsoever.

Always some "current situation"

8 out of 10 rides you always have some "current situation" that leads to cancellation, longer delay or switching the train ????

SBB - Unprofessional and Unfair

I had a valid ticket while travelling on SBB train. When the ticker check came, my phone was off as there was not battery so he handed over a ticket to me. I asked him for a mobile charger so that I can show my ticket to him, which he refused (typical SBB behavior - non helpful, inhuman, no empathy). The ticket said in case I am able to present my ticket, I will still be charged 30 francs...why? makes no sense? He said to trust him that he will add a comment to waive off that 30 francs processing fee also (word of advice - don't trust SBB).
Anyways, I went to the SBB office and showed them my valid ticket but they said to call the customer care. So, I called up the customer care and told them the situation...as usual they were not helpful at all and told me that I am at fault here so I have to pay the 30 francs anyways. Also as expected the ticket checker did not add any comments and lied to me.
It is not a matter of 30 francs, I have a half fare card since last 3 years for which I have paid 185, 165, 165 francs each year. Also I have purchased monthly passes manyyyy times and travelled always through SBB so obviously I have 30 francs to pay the fine. It is a matter of right and wrong, and here in this case SBB has cheated me, they have been unprofessional and are trying to mint money on unfair grounds. Still based on past experiences, I know they won't do anything against this complaint, so I have decided to not renew my SBB half fare card from this year and to travel by car. I will compensate it myself 10 folds by not availing their services anymore.

Customer support provides badly written answers, has bad automations, and is non-understanding.

Expensive and very customer unfriendly

So i purchased GA for 1 month and i didnt notice its renew every month half year , so now i have to pay next 5 months GA even though i dont need it. I called customer service and they told me that i have to pay next 5 months even if i dont travel anymore. I expect something better from 9 billion revenue company. Im very disapointed

Inhuman and extortion during covid 19 pandemic

Inhumane behavior and money extortion during covid 19 pandemic. Forced to pay for whole of 2021 despite only one journey in second half 2020. No warning letter straight away Betreibung. No consideration of high risk people unable to travel despite letter of proof. Shame on you. SBB or Mafia?

Covid-19 disaster

Covid-19 disaster. Just as the rest of Switzerland is working together to help prevent the spread of covid-19, SBB seems to be doing nothing - overcrowded trains with no provision for social distancing, and even simple things like no hand sanitizer at stations. Come on SBB, what's going on - how come you guys are doing nothing?

Noiraigue - Lausanne: terrible experience!

The stupidest train company ever! In this pandemic situation all around the world, they don't provide a service but a disservice! Few trains in the weekend with less coaches. The result is a bunch of crammed people, many of them without mask! People pay for this fake service! The company should be sue! They just endangered the public health!

Solution orientated customer support

Great solution orientated customer support. I booked a ticket for the wrong day, called up to explain my predicament and they processed the refund right away.

Worse even than trains in the UK

Worse even than trains in the UK. Relatively few trains which are frequently late, even on the main routes. Ticket booking is ok in Switzerland, but antiquated and difficult for international routes. I avoid where possible and take the car.
